This study aims to examine the leadership and managerial practices of the principal at SDIT Rahmatan Lil Alamin in Bogor Regency. This study employs a qualitative approach using a descriptive method, where the data collection techniques utilized include observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with the school principal, ten teachers, two staff members, and the foundation chairperson. This study was conducted from August to October 2023.
The results of this study indicate that the principal’s leadership and managerial skills are quite good and align with their responsibilities. The principal employs a situational leadership style and demonstrates strong managerial competence, including skills in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and analyzing issues.
The conclusion drawn regarding the principal’s managerial leadership is that it is quite good. This can be seen in the discipline and attendance of the teachers, the coordination between the school foundation, the principal, the vice principal, and the teachers, as well as the principal’s active monitoring and involvement in every activity organized by the school.
