Data were collected through observation and questionnaires<br>completed by 30 teachers at the school. This study aims to determine the effect of<br>the principal's leadership on teacher performance. The validity and reliability of<br>the questionnaire were tested and analyzed using the SPSS 20 application.</p> <p>The results showed that there is a significant relationship between leadership<br>transformation and teacher performance. This study emphasizes the importance of<br>effective leadership in improving teacher performance and ultimately student<br>achievement. The findings suggest that schools should focus on developing<br>transformational leadership qualities in their principals to have a positive impact<br>on teacher performance and overall education quality. The data collection<br>techniques used are observation, interview and documentation methods.<br>Interviews were conducted with the head of the BPS department, level tahfidz<br>teachers and senior tahfidz teachers. This research was conducted for six months<br>(starting from January until June ) 2023-2024 academic year.</p> <p>The results of this research show that the Principal, Head of the Tahfidz<br>Division and Tahfidz teachers at Nurul Fikri Boarding School Serang Junior High<br>School have made every effort to improve the professional competence of Tahfidz<br>teachers, namely by taking part in training guidance, regular evaluation meetings,<br>workshops, Al- Quran and also running programs held in schools in order to<br>improve the professionalism of tahfidz teachers. This research uses a qualitative<br>description approach. The data collection techniques used were observation,<br>interview and documentation methods. Interviews were conducted with the<br>principal, vice principal for curriculum, vice principal for student affairs, several<br>teachers and several parents of students at SD Madina Islamic School. The<br>research was conducted for 5 months (February to June 2022) in the 2021-2022<br>school year.</p> <p>The results of this study indicate that the professionalism of teachers at SD<br>Madina Islamic School has met the standards of teacher professionalism which<br>includes the physical dimension, mental dimension, scientific or knowledge<br>dimension, and skill dimension. With some things that must be considered, namely<br>the existence of support from the school to support the teaching and learning<br>activities of teachers, the holding of ceremonies, and the provision of health checks<br>for teachers.</p> <p>The conclusion obtained is the professionalism of teachers in carrying out<br>their duties and roles as teachers well. Teachers try to fulfill professional criteria<br>from the physical, mental, scientific or knowledge dimensions, and the skills<br>dimension. Teachers' efforts in time management to achieve the specified targets<br>and discipline in the teaching process. Penelitian ini menggunakan<br>metode field research (penelitian lapangan) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif.</p> <p>Adapun tehnik pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah metode observasi,<br>wawancara dan dokumentasi. Observasi dilaksanakan sejak awal pengambilan<br>judul dan wawancara dilakukan kepada Lima orang diantaranya adalah : satu kepala<br>sekolah, satu orang mewakili yayasan, dua orang wakil kepala sekolah dan satu<br>guru senior sekaligus sebagai wali kelas.</p> <p>Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pelaksanaan manajemen sumber<br>daya manusia di SDIT Al Kamil Depok sudah cukup dan terlaksana dalam kegiatan<br>perencanaan, pengorganisasian, perekrutan guru, pengembangan, program<br>kesejahteraan, pengawasan/evaluasi dan pemberhentian guru yang semua kegiatan<br>tersebut berada dalam pengawasan kepala sekolah dan para wakil kepala sekolah<br>dalam bidang kurikulum, pengembangan SDM, waka Sarana dan Prasarana.<br>Kepala sekolah yang menerima laporan hasil pelaksanaan manajemen SDM<br>berkordinasi kembali dengan pihak yayasan yang mempunyai kebijakan.</p> Zakiah Husni Ramadani Amir Hamzah Siti Atisah Hak Cipta (c) 2024 Jurnal Pena Islam 2024-12-14 2024-12-14 4 2 42 63 KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU (Studi Kasus di SMA IT Rahmaniyah Al Islami Cibinong, Bogor) https://jurnal.staiq.ac.id/index.php/penaislam/article/view/116 <p>This study examines the pedagogical competence of teachers at SMA IT<br>Rahmaniyah Al-Islami Cibinong Bogor through qualitative descriptive research.<br>Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation methods,<br>involving various stakeholders at the school.</p> <p>The study was conducted from October to April during the 2021-2022<br>academic year. The findings reveal that the pedagogical competence of teachers at<br>the school encompasses various aspects, such as managing learning, understanding<br>students, designing and implementing educational and dialogical learning, utilizing<br>learning technology, evaluating learning, and developing students.</p> <p>These factors are crucial for teachers to apply and develop in educational<br>settings. The study concludes that pedagogic competence plays a fundamental role<br>in an educational institution, impacting teachers and students alike.
