Abstract

Education is an important foundation for developing the potential of individuals and communities. This study aims to analyze teachers' creativity in fostering students' interest in learning at Darul Abidin Integrated Islamic
Elementary School (SDIT).

This study was motivated by the importance of teachers' creativity in creating an engaging and effective learning environment, as well as its relevance to the values contained in verse 11 of Surah Al Mujadilah. This study employs aqualitative approach using descriptive methods. Data was collected through observation, interviews with the school principal, teachers, staff, and students, as well as documentation. Data analysis was conducted interactively, focusing on identifying strengths, areas for improvement, opportunities, and challenges related to teachers' creativity.

The research findings are expected to provide constructive recommendations for improving the quality of education at SDIT Darul Abidin. The results of the study show that teachers at SDIT Darul Abidin have strengths in various aspects that reflect their creativity, such as the ability to select learning media, use media that is appropriate for the objectives, utilize interactive media, create teaching aids, select effective teaching methods, and create a conducive classroom environment.

However, there are several areas that need improvement, such as diversity of learning media, technological skills, development of engaging materials, group discussion skills, and the quality of teaching aids. SDIT Darul Abidin has various opportunities to enhance teacher creativity through training, collaboration, technology utilization, school support, and mentoring programs. Challenges include time constraints, resource limitations, resistance to change, and inadequate support.

Based on the research findings, it is recommended that the school provide training, enhance support, encourage collaboration, and offer recognition. Teachers are advised to continue developing themselves and innovating. Researchers are encouraged to conduct further studies on the factors influencing teacher creativity.
