PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP ZAKAT PERTANIAN (Studi kualitatif di Desa Siru, Kec. Lembor , Kab. Manggarai Barat, Nusa Tenggara Timur)

Abstrak

This study aims to determine the Public Perception of Agricultural Zakat in Siru Village, Lembor District, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research uses a Qualitative Descriptive Study approach. The data collection techniques used are interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with village government leaders, religious leaders, local communities and farmers.

The results of this study indicate that the Public Perception of Agricultural Zakat in Siru Village, Lembor Sub-district, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Which includes Community Perception of Agricultural Zakat, Obstacles to the sustainability of Agricultural Zakat and Application in the implementation of Agricultural Zakat in Siru village in accordance with Islamic Shari'a. The conclusions obtained include: Community Perception of Agricultural Zakat in Siru village, Lembor sub-district, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.

The conclusions obtained include: The ignorance of the community towards agricultural Zakat raises the perception that in their opinion if they have issued Zakat Fitrah or Alms means that they have issued Agricultural Zakat. The obstacle in implementing agricultural Zakat is the lack of public understanding of agricultural Zakat, in addition to the understanding of the management team or UPZ administrators or the Zakat management team which should have an important role in the implementation of agricultural Zakat is also still very lacking, and another obstacle is the lack of socialization carried out by religious leaders or UPZ local area. The efforts in implementing the implementation of agricultural Zakat in Siru Village are socialization as an effort to understand the community in the implementation of agricultural Zakat through da'wah media and religious institutions and revitalization of the zakat management team as a forum for collecting and depositing zakat. Some suggestions that can be done include: realizing efforts to implement agricultural Zakat by holding socialization to the community so that people can understand agricultural zakat.
