This study aims to examine: (1) the professional competence of teachers at SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Fikri Boarding School Bogor; (2) the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting teacher’s professional competence at the school; and (3) the solutions that have been implemented to enhance teacher’s professional competence. Professional competence is a crucial aspect in improving the quality of education, encompassing mastery of subject matter, the ablitu to design, implement, ang evaluate the teaching and learning process effectively and efficiently. This research is motivated by observations indicating that while many teachers have demonstrated strong professional competence, there are still shortcomings, particularly in the utillisation of Learning Management Systems (LMS), the development of teaching modules, and the achievent of supervision targets. The study employs a qualitative-descriptive approach, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that, in general, the teachers at this school exhibit good professional competence. However, several inhibiting factors remain, including a lack of advanced training, limited time for professional development, and constraints in mastering educational technology. The solutiosimplementes by the school include enhancing internal training, conducting regular supervision, providing mentoring in the development of teaching materials, and fostering a culture of continuous learning among teachers. This study is expected to contribute to the improvement of teacher quality and the overall enhancement of educational standards.
